In this episode I have the honor of visiting with 5th Dan in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate, 1st Dan in Shiho Karano Ryu Ju-Jitsu, Krav Maga and Combat Shooting Instructor, certified John Maxwell Leadership speaker/coach/teacher, and President of the International Martial Arts Council (IMAC), John Terry.
Welcoming, energetic and clearly passionate about leadership, John Terry is actively making a difference in the martial arts community by championing an organization that brings together some of the best leaders in the world from virtually every martial arts style that exists.
As a parent, getting to listen and understand more about IMAC’s origination, current state, and goals for the future, as well as hearing some of the challenges of running a prestigious annual event, matters because it’s an event my son and I will likely continue to participate in, so it’s very comforting to know the leader is not only approachable, but completely volunteer run and committed to excellence.
You can read John’s full bio here.
